Reaching Terminus - Dev Log
Project Reflection
After essentially a year of development, the project is complete and the game is done. this has been a massive journey, where I've gained new, and honed existing, skills with Unity, Maya, Substance Painter and C#. While development was mostly smooth, I defiently ahd times where I struggled to solve coding related issues, but over time I improved my understanding the logic behind how problem's occur in Unity coding, and now I feel confident with troubleshooting and finding solutions to game design and coding problems.
However, I do feel that my focus on mechanics and the user experience limited my ability to go deep into the aesthetic side of the project, and in future I will hope to pursue work that can develop help my skills in 3D and 2D asset creation as a stronger focus.

Regardless, this year has amde it very obvious how much of an iterative proccess game design can and will be, and is a good indicator of what I should expect when moving into the industry after grad.
